Bergen Group Ship Design was established in April 2009. The company is based on a solid platform of proven ship design-knowledge within the group, especially at Bergen Group Fosen who developed the well recognized Optima design.

 

Bergen Group ShipDesign works closely with the two shipyards in the group, and Bergen Group provides the marked with everything from design to commissioning of the ship.

 

In addition, Bergen Group ShipDesign is a supplier of design and design packages for external customers.

RoPax ships and large sophisticated offshore and construction vessels will be priority areas for Bergen Group ShipDesign.

The company is located right in the heart of Norwegian research and expertise,
the PIR Center in Trondheim.
